Of the many patients who have chosen to undergo the da Vinci® Prostatectomy (dVP) at the Urology Center of Florida, approximately half have come from other states and some from other countries. We are committed to make each patient's treatment as pleasant as possible, and this includes helping those who travel here have an enjoyable stay during treatment. Ocala, located in North Central Florida and surround by scenic countryside, is convenient to some of the most famous attractions and activities in the Sunshine State, including Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Center, World Golf Hall of Fame, and the Atlantic and Gulf Coast Beaches.
Orlando International and Tampa International Airports are among the busiest in the nation, and provide access to almost all points in the country. For patients who wish to visit some of Florida’s many attractions during their stay, we offer flexible scheduling of evaluations and treatment to allow ample time to explore the many wonderful destinations in the region.
